the school. Ms. Wynter stated that the contribution of $4,000 last year
helped in the completion of the computer lab. The principal pointed out
that due to the limited resources they have only been able to offer
Information Technology to the senior students, but to make Information
Technology a core subject, the school needs to have an additional sixty
computers and additional computer lab. Hence, she appealed to the past
students to assist the institution in whatever way possible.
In giving an update of the school's performance, Ms. Wynter stated that of
the 115 students who will graduate in November, two were successful in
eight subjects, ten passed seven subjects, fifteen past six subjects,
twenty five passed five and thirty-six four subjects. She pointed out that
the English Department also received a 60% pass. In addition, she said the
six formers all gained between one and four subjects in their Caribbean
Studies Examination and seven of these students have been accepted to read
for first degrees at the University of the West Indies. She stated that
school is performing well both academically and in sports, and are no doubt
shaping the lives of students so that they can make a positive contribution
to society.
The reunion brought students from as far as Jamaica, United Kingdom, Canada
and various states throughout the United States. The weekend activities
