Greetings! I extend my regards to you and to your loved ones.

I write to you regarding the "Emancipation Weekend Reunion" events being planned by Hands Across Trelawny (HAT), the group with which I am involved, for the week of July 30 through August 2, 2004. This year's observance is intended to facilitate fun gatherings and to allow us to focus our energy on improving our parish. It is planned to coincide with the Emancipation Day celebrations, thereby affording celebrants the opportunity to participate in activities that will highlight the parish's history and diversity.

While we are there, we may also enjoy reunions with family, friends, and former classmates. We may see opportunities to assist our home parish and think of ways in which we may invest in the preservation of its history and in ensuring its prosperous future.
