I would like to thank all the patrons who attended the inaugural annual Florida Picnic on Sunday Oct 21 '07,
which assure me that they too believe in the quest to further the education of our youths. Our goal is to make enough money
to sponsor several kids already in high school and some that are transitioning from elementary with some basic needs, such as
books, lunch and other materials that will allow them to ease into their studies knowing that some of their common needs are met.
With your continued support and generosity we can make this happen year after year. It was an enjoyable weekend full of laughter and I'm glad
I had the opportunity to be a part of it all.
I would also like to thank all the senior members of the HAT Organization in entrusting me the free will under the umbrella to plan this picnic.
Charles and Paul for their input and guidance, Chris for his generosity and "treats" in keeping me on the straight and narrow,
Jem for supporting his decision and implementing new ones for next year, Denise for always staying on target with the planning,
Everton who make sure everything is in place, if you can't get it he will. Madge was with me all the way, thanks for your hard work
and moral support. Thanks to Pat Adrian and Faye Kelly for their input. Thanks to Althea for coming through with last minute chores,
Jeff McLeod for his support, Derrick Scott for his willingness to help in whichever capacity, my gal pal Donna Grant for coming through and
support the cause. Dennis it was really nice having you here to help Jem with Chris, my brethern Count pass through to lend support,
Basil in the place though he apologize he was not able to stay for the picnic. Foody it was nice to see your face too.
Lets all get together again next year and bring the others to join us, and for all the people that I did not mention, I'm really bad with names,
but thanks a lot for your support.
Sincerely,
--
