William Knibb Dinner/Dance 2007 had surpassed all expectations, due to the combined efforts of members and non-members alike. The spirit of friendship among the gathering resounded around the walls of the emaculately laid out Ballroom of the Best Western Hotel in Plantation, Florida. There was dancing, laughter and the usual chit-chat, punctuated by music from Stevie Gregg's 'Sly, Slick and Wicked Disco.

Contributing to the success of the event was Madge 'Hold de line' Johnson, Faye Kelly, Pat Adrian, Derrick 'Press'Scott, Wesley Smith, members of the HAT Organization, Paul Earle, Nan Tosh and others. The NY chapter alumni was represented, and folks came in from California, New Jersey, Canada, Connecticut, Delaware, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Maryland.

Special thanks to Everton Wilson and the core group mentioned above for contributing to a successful hosting of this event; Special thanks also to the guest speaker Philmore Scott, and last but not least to the well wishers and friends in attendance. Based on what we have accomplished this year, next year promises to be an even greater event. Thank you all.
